Sacral

Sacral, meaning sacred, is a collection of photos of historically significant religious architecture, sculpture, and glasswork. For Sacral, I slowly transition the photography to darker and darker scenes, representing the fall of religion in modern-day Europe. Throughout this collection, I always attempt to show the power of religion, often showing it as something to be looked up to or towards. I also show how religious architecture remains the same even as the photos were taken in multiple countries. The photos were edited to emulate a film look to match the deep history of the different places and scenes.
